Our Father, Who art in heaven
Pretty self explanatory, God is our Heavenly Father. Creator of all life and of the universe.
Hallowed be Thy Name;
In Judaism the name of God, the Tetragrammaton, is not to be spoken aloud. Nor can it be even spoken in today's language. It was only spoken once per year by the High Priest in the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle; it's linguistic legacy is only in text, not in speech. The name of God, at least in spoken form, has been lost on this side of Heaven.
Thy kingdom come,
Again, self explanatory.
Thy will be done,
Again self explanatory.
on earth as it is in heaven.
His Will should be done in all places of His Creation.
Give us this day our daily bread,
Either what we need to get through the day, or perhaps the most Blessed Sacrament.
and forgive us our trespasses,
We ask God for His Mercy and Grace.
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
We, as Christians, are called to forgive those who have wronged us, just as we are forgiven by our Heavenly Father.
and lead us not into temptation,
We ask our Lord to preserve us from the snares and wickedness of the Enemy, lest we fall further from Grace.
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
And in the end, all we do is hope that we will come face to face with Him
