It has a thread right now where a person is obsessing over the role of demons in everyday objects.
The demonic can only push a person so far, for humans have such a great capacity for sin and wickedness of their own accord. We eventually have to consent to falling, consciously or not. Eventually we become willing actors in perfidy, or we turn our backs upon it. And eventually if we fear something enough, if we blame it enough, it can turn to consume us in its own way and lead us into sin
