So just a tiny look at my view of this:
Our Father: Acknowledges God as our Father, and as a part of the Trinity.
Who Art In Heaven: It's nice to know God is in the really good place. It shows where He rules from.
Hallowed Be They Name: Praising God, His Name, His Being. An act of utter worship and devotion, a renewal of oath to him.
Thy Kingdom Come: Praying for the coming of the Kingdom of Christ in this world and the next.
Thy Will Be Done, On Earth As It Is In Heaven: Location should matter nothing in the praise of the Lord. Nor should being alive or amongst the Communion of Saints.
Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread: Self explanatory, moreso than any other I think.
And Forgive Us Our Trespasses: Prayer that God sees fit to forgive us our sins against him, as they are many and we are utterly unworthy of His Grace.
As We Forgive Those Who Have Trespassed Against Us: An oath to forgive those we despise. Probably the hardest part of this devotion for me. Often after the Lord's Prayer, I'll ask for the ability to forgive one person in particular.
And Lead Us Not Into Temptation, But Deliver Us From Evil, Amen.: Pretty self explanatory again, but a petition to God to keep us strong, and to keep us saved from the fires of Hell by His Grace.
Anyhow, hope it doesn't sound incomplete. I came up with it two nights ago as I lay in bed unable to sleep.
