I've been so whiny over this cold. Yes, at times I've literally been unable to stand. Yes, at times, I have been so pale that the veins throughout my body have been completely visible. Yes, at times I have been sleeping less than an hour a night, wracked by coughing so violent that I have been brought to tears...but I still have my family.
Two friends recently contacted me...one is being kicked out of her home by her uncle she lives with. No job, 24 days to find a place to live...and then there's another friend. Her mother died yesterday morning. I would far take physical inconvenience, painful as it is, to having either of those things.
