Nearly two thousand years ago a Jewish carpenter was crucified on a tau cross in Judea, under the governorship of Pontius Pilate. He was a blasphemer, a criminal of the highest order against the legalistic faith of the time.
His name was Yeshua. Known in these times as Jesus, the Christ, the Redeemer, the Saviour, the Prince of Peace, the Light of the World, and, proclaimed Himself blasphemously to be the Son of God. So this man was crucified, to be forgotten in the pages of history and beneath the sands of time...at least until He rose once more.
In that time, everything in the world changed. Everything has stayed changed. The chance for forgiveness for our sins is there now. The chance to welcome His sacrifice and repent is still there. The chance to remember His sorrowful passion is still there.
We must just accept Him, and learn to be forgiven.
